Nože Nůžky

This work was created within the branding company Hrivnak.

Nože nůžky / Knives Scissors is a startup company made for manual sharpening of knives and scissors. The basic idea of patterns made of knife blades was motivated by the brief expecting traditional Czech design and heritage. The shapes of blades evolved into flowers and ornaments represented in traditional Czech ceramics. The made idea of the sense of sharpening is expressed in very sharp edges of patterns creating 4 seasons of a year. These ideas are depicted in the calligraphic logo as well as throughout the whole identity.
